Why would an ex VC manager choose private debt?

Now there's an interesting question. Tom Blah, the COO from CODEC and ex VC fund manager, decided to raise private debt instead of going to one of his silicon valley buddies. He's seen firsthand what happens if you choose the wrong VC and was adamant that he would avoid it for his company. So he gave Fuse Capital a call and we dutifully helped him raise the growth funding he needed to take Codec to the next level.
