Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Associate Manager to join our growing Global Deal Team. This is a client focused role, you will work closely with our Investment Team and be responsible for identifying and nurturing new business opportunities in the investment space, contributing to the expansion of Fuse Capital Group's market presence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our company's growth strategy and make a significant impact on the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities
Deal Execution:- Reviewing client financial information and analysis of financial statements.
- Drafting and development of client business overviews and Investment Memorandums (IM’s)
- Building and maintaining financial models (integrated 3-way models including P&L, Cashflow, and Balance Sheet)
- Proactively identify and act on cross-selling opportunities across FCG’s growing product portfolio.
- Coordinating lender interactions with clients.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and product offerings to effectively communicate the value proposition of our solutions/products to clients.
Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and lender partners to facilitate the placement of debt financing
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and investment teams, to align strategies and ensure a cohesive approach to client engagement.
Admin, Reporting & Insights:
- Take ownership of the project plans and adhere to internal SLAs
- Maintain the deal data on the project management tools for accurate reporting
Core Competencies
This role requires strong technical skills and expertise in:
- Financial modelling, cash flow, and financial statement analysis.
- Preparation of high-quality marketing, investment and /or credit papers with an ability to synthesise and concisely present information from a diverse range of sources
- Understanding business valuation methodologies, including multiples based and DCF based methodologies will be a plus
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to recognise and capitalise on cross-selling opportunities across an evolving suite of products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Demonstrated problem solving and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, team-based environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business finance or related field
- Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) (desirable)
- Chartered Accountant (desirable)
