Kayode's journey in the world of finance has been defined by a passion for crafting bespoke solutions and a commitment to delivering outstanding results for clients across a range of sectors.

Before joining Fuse Capital, Kayode spent two years as Associate Director in KPMG’s Debt Advisory team, where he specialized in developing structured debt solutions for mid-market borrowers in the hospitality, consumer, and real estate sectors. His ability to navigate complex financial landscapes and improve outcomes for clients and stakeholders quickly set him apart.

Kayode’s career also includes several pivotal roles at Barclays, most notably as Vice President in Debt Origination for Real Estate. There, he structured and negotiated investment and development transactions for clients ranging from private landlords to major housebuilders, mastering the intricacies of market dynamics, credit analysis, and transaction management. Over six years in Barclays’ transaction management team, Kayode executed more than 100 debt transactions, with loan sizes from £3 million to over £200 million, across the UK, US, and EMEA. His experience spans bilateral and multi-bank facilities, giving him a nuanced understanding of lender appetite and market trends.

A champion of innovation and sustainability, Kayode also played a key role in executing Barclays’ inaugural green loan, reflecting his forward-thinking approach to finance.
