Clarise Kho
Associate Director
Clarise is a venture debt specialist focused on Southeast Asia, bringing seven years of hands‑on experience structuring non‑dilutive capital for high‑growth companies. Her work sits at the intersection of credit judgment and founder empathy - helping innovative teams extend runway, preserve equity, and scale with discipline across dynamic markets.
Before joining Fuse Capital, Clarise worked at Innoven Capital, partnering with hundreds of founders across agritech, e‑commerce, fintech, edtech, F&B, and mobility. There, she helped leadership teams translate growth levers into fit‑for‑purpose debt solutions, guiding them from lender engagement through documentation and drawdown with clarity, rigor, and a steady hand.
Clarise’s edge lies in disciplined underwriting and clear stakeholder communication, coupled with a measured, founder‑friendly approach to risk. She works end‑to‑end - aligning structures to capital needs, building lender confidence around the story and the numbers, and navigating the details that turn strong businesses into bankable credits.
She began her career at PwC in Financial Services Assurance, auditing multinational investment banks. That early foundation in controls, reporting, and institutional realities sharpened the data‑driven judgment she brings to structuring and diligence today.
Clarise holds a Double Degree in Accountancy and Business Management (Finance second major) and is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore - credentials that reinforce analytical depth and credibility in the market. Her core specialism is venture debt.
Outside of work, Clarise enjoys baking - cookies, cakes, and brownies are favorites - and exploring new food spots with friends and family. That curiosity and craft show up in her work too: careful preparation, consistent execution, and a focus on creating something that stands the test of time.
